infections, autoimmune diseases, vitamin deficiencies etc, can affect and deform nails. These problems may be diagnosed by a physician and cured with the appropriate treatment.

However there are many healthy people whose nails are still brittle or soft. This problem is very common and is seen frequently in clinics. It is estimated that it effects up to 40 million Americans.
Nails are made up of interconnecting corny layers, incorporating minerals and other elements. Based on genetic variety, nail's composition differs, resulting in differences in nail's strength from person to person. Nails are located on extremities and are therefore subjected to external factors. These factors can alter the nail's chemical and physical properties, predisposing to brittleness and softness.

What can we do to cure brittleness? If a nail is soft or brittle nothing can cure it permanently. But applying certain products can strengthen them.
There are many products with different formulations that act in different ways. The old ones, containing formaldehyde, made the nail surface harder, however these are not recommended nowadays because of the side effects
Others act like a lacquer which add a layer to the nails and increasing the thickness. They are not recommended because the nail is not actually strengthened and the weak nail is just carrying an extra load. There is also the danger of more damages while removing the layer.
Other products employ resin compounds with different formulations. They don't have the mentioned harmful effects, but create a layer that remains on the nail.

Rospina acts totally different. It is an herbal formulation, leaving no residue, and is totally safe.

Rospina is very effective, and the improvement in nail strength is quite tangible in a week. Nails that are not overly weak will improve in about seven to ten days. Weaker nails should be treated for at least six weeks. Rospina provides nails with the elements they need for a strong structure
